You;re pretty funny actually. But seriously, I've telecommuted for most of 10 years now on different jobs. On most of them, I think I've worked just as hard as a normal worker. But it has given been some chances to goof off.
I wish I had mod points to mod the parent up. I have sat through some DARPA presentations that look absolutly crazy and incomprehensible. If there is anyone out there who doesn't know how to make good ppt slides, it is government agencies. Do I have any support from anyone out there ?
Actually, wouldn't it be fine now to put into the wiki article:
'In a recent article regardiing an entry on him in Wikipedia, Mr. Seigen Thaler took issue with the statement
"John Seigenthaler Sr. was the assistant to Attorney General Robert Kennedy in the early 1960's. For a brief time, he was thought to have been directly involved in the Kennedy assassinations of both John, and his brother, Bobby. Nothing was ever proven."'
Yeah, I found the typos annoying but it was a big help for me when I modded my 72 Dodge Dart body regarding safety. And it has a funny joke from Seinfeld about a "Johnson rod".
Article says "so simple even a frog could do it." Why must article discriminate against french ? We are leads in computer industry and helped to beat Germans in WW II.
I am french grandmother, and feminist and am offended by the sperm joke. Why does slashdot always be anti-woman ? I work hard for my family, and am nice to my husband. Also slashdot is too anti-french!!
"so simple, even my grandmother could implement it."
As a 48 yo grandmother, I am offended that technical incompetance is equated with being a grandparent. I don't think anyone would have said "so simple even my grandfather could implement."
No No ! Here we see the EVIL so called "Roscoe" be anti-French. So cruel is Roscoe to french, do not trust him. Roscoe is rude american tourist, who is lost.
Why must article discrimenate againt the French ? We are good people. Too much now in the US is anti-French feelings, like "freedom fries". We helped US defeat Hitler, and France is a leads computer industry.

They have done other things like this with other media formats - like Soldier Radio in the 50's.
Also, they don't indicate the amount of error. How sure are they ?

6 months of paid leave off sounds like a terrible policy. How big is this company ? A startup wouldn't be able to afford a policy like that.
Take a look here.

I wouldn't say it was that old. Wasn't it from the Sean Connery movie which takes place near Jupiter ?
Now the French can put their posts here about how they actually drove out the Nazis.
Right, as soon as anyone raises a womens issue here on Slashdot it is called a Troll.
It's not in the first article though, sorry. In the 3rd.
From the article:
"A patent so simple a grandmother could understand it."
As a feminist and a 48 yo grandmother I am offended.

Every few years this gets brought up. There was an article in the June 94 sci american about it. The topic is a bit of a yawner anyway.

There was a story a bit back (on Ars?) about how the government has been doing this since the 80's.
As usual, there should be a qualifier as to what is meant by fastest. According to their definition they are, but not according to NEC's, for example.
