Total Annihilation was a game with soul, and spawned a huge following. You can still find TA servers to play on today, and mods are still being developed. Supreme Commander (http://supcom.gaspowered.com/) is coming out this year, which is basically TA2, and looks equally delicious.
Games for games sake are great. The FF series has become all cutscenes and they lost their grandeur. It's things like that that turn my stomach. I want to play something, and have fun making decisions doing so, to achieve a goal. Not hit X or spbar for 10 minutes of ads or cutscene pushing the latest trendy ideas (Gaia)
This is just a small, random editorial piece that makes only one statement that would probably be just a millesecond thought process to most of us. I'd like to see real data on specific OS's pitted against each other, armed with switchblades and stuff, to the death.
You think that $49B was _generated_ by Billy? No, it was taken from our economy.
According to your economic system then, there was trillions of dollars afloat since we were primordial ooze. Wealth is created, this is basic economics for a market economy. What a way to have to pop my slashdot cherry.

Who taught women to use a remote control?
Oh, c'mon! I know that I want to look like a handicapped NASCAR fan...
