it actually is not a boot script... part of the module-init-tools install imvolves running make old or something like that (RTFM) and what happens is module-init-tools checks the kernel version and execures the.old versions if its a 2.4 kernel..at least from what i have observed
i use the cannon S9000 even tho its not labled as linux compatible the CUPS S900 driver works with it perfectly,it uses ink tanks that are quite big and one for EACH color so you dont waste just cuz one colors used up the tanks also cost $11 each (try to find that for any other cartriage) and it has high res printing. printing 3 pages of photo quality images hasnt even drained the ink noticeably, its a verry ink efficient printer the quality of the prints is about the same as what I would expect out of a $4000 tetronix
i may not have adhd, but i have aspergers syndrom(in the autism spectrum) and ritalin does help with paying attention but what i have noticed is that if i do something that would normaly make someone hyper actualy helps me stay more focused
zip is a verry old format i think the only thing that compreses worse then a zip archive is a cab file or a tar(no compression) go with rar if your useing windows and a bzip2 if your useing linux or mac?(since its basicly unix) i think even a gzip archive does better then what winzip does
gzip on linux: tar -czvf archive.tar.gz files bzip on linux: tar -cjvf atchive.tar.bz2 files to extract replace c with x winrar can open linux format files so dont worry about windows compatibility and i imagine mac comes with tar anyway and bzip/gzip
what tells you when your battery are dead? all of your small files being wiped? also if you really hate someone you can pull the battery and next time they power cycle where did all their files go!
