That way Microsoft could point to the poll in court as yet another demonstration of their lack of total dominance in the OS market. Except Linux Today found out about it and told all their readers to go vote for Windows.
Nah... It was probably just caused by a process on the server that got caught in an infinite loop since the machine was an NT box and hadn't been rebooted in the last six hours, and kept voting for Windows.
