Seems to be nice and fairly easy to implement - I'm setting it up to track hardware and (more importantly to the regulators) how often I update software.
I'm not going to use the ticket tracker, but it's nice how they integrated that with the hardware tracker.
Also like the looks of the knowledgebase that they have.
I've seen a virus rewrite the hosts file to include the symantec, norton, and AVG update sites and redirect them to the localhost. It even went so far as to add a bunch of new lines so that it wasn't immediately obvious in notepad.
As a cool riff on this, there is a trendy Italian restaurant in Toronto that the owners decided to name after the numbered company they set up to administer it: 1447582. Everybody just calls it "seven numbers".
Nothing says "Good Italian food in Canada" like 1447582!
I'm in Iowa and do from time to time go out tornado spotting when weather conditions warrant. For the most part, at least around here, tornados come from nasty weather - dark, ugly clouds (note the technical terminology!) and really unsettled weather. We send people out 5-7 miles from town in the direction of the storm and communicate back to a base station with radios - and are in contact with the county 911 center as well as other fire departments.
We've not been called out when it's just partly cloudy - but that doesn't mean that we couldn't be.
In 1978 or 1979, a fairly large (for Iowa) tornado hit Algona. I was just a kid, but from what I heard, the sky was pitch black near the tornado but blue sky was visible in that town just before it hit.
I guess that all I'm saying is that Sun != good, happy weather.
but this whole assuming people (in computing, no less) see the sun is kinda odd.
It would also seem to be odd looking for the sun when a tornado or a hurricane is approaching!
In all seriousness, I think that a big enough tornado will suck clouds into it and will allow for clear blue sky near the system. So in that case, seeing the sun might be kind of a scary deal.
Likewise, the Gospels are historically valuable in the sense that they had some measurable impact on history, but they are full of things that just plain never happened --->>> like the curtain in the Temple being torn top-to-bottom on the day of the crucifixtion. That, and tombs opening, and dead prophets coming forth and prophesying while Jesus' body was still on the cross, would surely have attracted some notice from the Jews & the Romans, who were a bit touchy about such things.
And have had broadband longer than many in medium sized ciities!
My town has a population of about 600 and a locally owned telephone company. I've had broadband since early 2000. That is before cities 10 times (or more!) our size got it!
And just because a farm has incorporated, doesn't mean that it isn't a family venture. There are many benefits to incorporating - especially when the farmer has to stand self employment tax on all profits!
I do the same - it does keep the cards in better shape considering that I sit on them for more than 8 hours a day.
Do you keep your credit or debit cards in a protective sleeve now? Why would that be any different?
Because they're the government - they're here to "help" you!
Yes - as long as we can't or won't do anything about it...
Who does Abdulla think he is? I don't think I'd even hit reply for anything less than $50 million...

I originally rewrote it in Access (single user app - worked fine) and have since rewrote in PHP with a PostgreSQL backend.
Pretty slick and does what I need it to do.
Windows 95 came just enough later to hit the first real wave of internet usage - IBM was just a hair too quick to take advantage of it.
The extra "E" is to keep the mosquitos away!

They should think "out of state hunting licen$e$" and encourage it!
Apparently the idea is to torture the boss with a bad movie?

The best bet for avoiding BSE is to avoid feeding cattle parts of other cattle.
Mad Canadian Beef. Yummy!
Use the cross cut shredder as mentioned - and then donate the shredded remains to an animal shelter or a hog farmer to use as animal bedding.
No - but they would have said that it was Kerry sticking it to those evil campaign-contributing corporations.
You misspelled "GOOD GOD NO!"
That's what happens when the matrix isn't sure how to replicate the taste of the food - it defaults to chicken.
That's just a cover by the Jews and the Romans!

I just sent in my 1st quarter estimates - including the Self Employment taxes. Damn old people...
Not really nice, but when complaining about farmers, remember that they are actually working for their handout.
