  1. Stability on Will VoIP Kill the PBX? · · Score: 1

Until my internet connection is stable enough to stay up for years at a time I will not trust my line to 911 and other services replaced. We had Vonage and its just fine, works like a charm, until as usual the internet connection goes down. This seems to happen about once ever month where im at. The phone since I was old enough to use it has never been off.

There is never a maintenance window with your phone even a planned one.

  2. We just released an application on Playing Pen-and-Paper RPGs Online with Friends? · · Score: 1

We have been using an application I wrote some for a couple years that has pretty much everything asked for except for the voice communication for that we use ventrillio. I setup a site seeing there was a demand for such an app and released it under the GPL. There are a couple things missing but over the next few days they will be added in.

  3. Registry on Windows XP, Games, and Administrator Privileges? · · Score: 1

You might try giving them access to the registry. Also there are two programs that lets you peek at what a program is doing to the file/registry.

  4. Since When is everyone early teens to late 20s? on What Type Of Gamer Are You? · · Score: 1

He missed by a large degree on age range for RPG fans. This may have been written by a high school student and seeing a narrow view of the world because its not even close to what I have seen. So much for research.

  5. Nothing Wrong... on Why Johnny Can't Handwrite · · Score: 2, Informative

There's nothing wrong with losing the ability to write in cursive. It is difficult to read and the only reasons later in life to use it is for taking notes, writing checks, and signing your name. I have to think for a minute when writing checks but I don't consider this a bad thing.
