  1. Re:Someone's not been doing their GiS homework. on Diablo 2 Finally Hits Shelves · · Score: 1

First off let me say that I have not yet picked up my copy of Diablo 2, but I was a "stress tester". It was my understanding that at the end of the stress test the characters were going to be erased and everything was going to start fresh. Meaning, we couldn't keep using our level 15 Barbarians anymore. I assume that this is because ST users would have an unfair advantage over newcomers. Odds are that all the variations _were_ gone, but were erased when everything was reset.

Well, I personally think it would be pretty thick headed of you to report him to Lars and the RIAA considering that you are hosting the illegal files yourself.

First let me say that I understand what you mean, but keep in mind that some people can't afford television sets or radios, eliminating those mediums. Other people are illiterate, eliminating print. Even if everyone did have access and the ability to understand what was being said, no address could be truly "national" because not everyone pays attention to addresses such as these.

While it is true that the conservative parents submit the sites for review. Someone who works within the company actually reviews the sites, they are not simply "whitelisted" because they are submitted.

  5. Sure there is no bias. Wink Wink, Nudge Nudge on AOL Protects Kids From Liberals · · Score: 1

It seems that whoever determines the sites that children are allowed to visit is quite obviously a conservative. This, however, brings the thought to mind, how many of us, when we were wee little children, were interested in learning about the political parties. I know for a fact that I wasn't until around the age of 16, when my parents would have turned the filters off, or at least down a notch. Sure there are exceptions, such as school work, but I doubt that many children, if any, visit any political site.

  6. This doesn't make sense on Hasbro And Game-Design Lawsuits · · Score: 1

This ruling simply doesn't make sense. This is essentially the same as suing the publisher of a book because they printed a mystery novel. Assuming, of course, that someone could prove that they created the idea of the mystery novel. Is the U.S. judicial system incompetent or are they just out of touch with technology?
