this is an old pic, I saw this a long time ago. It is not a functional device, just a mock-up of what a potential product using their new tuner-on-a-chip might look like. I don't remember where I read the article though.
calling in a nuke strike in Ghost sounds like fun, but this type of game isn't what Blizzard is known for so hopefully they can pull it off. There should be a way to dumb-down the controls on a title like Starcraft or Warcraft to make it usable on a console, or make the whole game simpler. Maybe they could look at the controls for the Sims on Xbox for ideas, that game has a lot of functions and they made it work on a console(I haven't tried it personally).
What bums me out is that Marathon was the last FPS for the Mac that came with a map editor. I used to have a blast making Marathon and DoomII maps back in the day. There was Quiver for Quake(I think Scott Kevill wrote it), but I don't think he ever completed it.

there is a networked Sega GT on the way, I read it at one of the gaming sites.

I'd like to see Bomberman come to Xbox, and Live enabled would make it that much better. Also, a good RTS is needed, like a Starcraft or Myth.
and yeah, I meant consoles

Well, Doom III is coming to Xbox and no other platforms, I'd say that is a pretty killer app. I've read that Brute Force should be good, too.
