Not really. Perhaps sometime in the future. Brazil certainly has the manpower and natural resources to do it but economically and militarily they are far from being able to compete with the US.
MS has been developing cell phone OSes for a long time. You could say they owned the smartphone market before the iPhone and Android were released. Heck they developed tablets and multitouch displays before Apple. How many patents do you think they have under their belt? I don't know the numbers of the Samsung/MS patent deal but MS used to charge HTC $5 per Android device and rumor has it that Android manufacturers which also manufacture Windows devices get kickbacks. So doing the accounting is probably going to be complicated.
After the Meteor missile and the AESA radar get into service this could change. The Raptor can launch a long range missile but there are active defenses against radar guided missiles besides passive stealth features. The history of fighters is littered with people who thought short range dogfighting was not going to happen because they had superior missiles and got proven wrong over and over again. The Eurofighter wins in dogfighting because it has helmet sights and IRST (Infrared Search and Track) sensors.
Hardware keyboards are a waste of time and they cost you extra if you want to sell the cellphone worldwide. A software keyboard can take any shape or have whichever symbols you want in it. It doesn't take up space in the phone either. If users want a keyboard they can buy a bluetooth wireless keyboard from someone else.
If they actually managed to convince carriers to have their phones here perhaps they would sell more. I wanted to buy a Motorola Milestone once and the only way to buy it would be to order from the UK. Pathetic.
I can guess you don't like using the tablet outside. The laptop folds and the screen is protected by the casing on all sides. On a tablet this isn't true. In my opinion working tablets eventually will all either have covers or be double sided and foldable. In the end they are just reinventing paper clipboards and notebooks.
The margins would go down as competition in the market increased. One may claim the margins are too low for Android manufacturers. If that is true what eventually will happen is there will be market consolidation with less players in the market and the competitors will try to segment their product line better to differentiate the products in the eye of the consumer. I already saw signs of that a couple of years ago when Sony Ericsson made the Xperia mini and Samsung made the Galaxy Note which are clearly in a whole different segment compared to the other smartphones.
It's called a countersuit. It's done to attempt to get the person or company which sued in the first place to reconsider and go to the bargaining table. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
You are wrong. Apple wants $30 per phone and $40 per tablet for a bunch of software patents. They also want Samsung to pay royalties on any Windows phones they sell. Oh and all the hardware patents (you know the ones actually useful for implementing the cellphone bit) Samsung has on a plate. Apple is pathetic.
Clearly you did not read the same slides I read. The whole presentation was basically a threat to Samsung based on a bunch of flimsy software patents. Double tap to zoom? Google Maps had publicly implemented double-click to zoom before that. If you think that isn't an obvious extension that anyone could think of you are deluded. Samsung has plenty of hardware patents. Of course Apple claims these must be licensed in a RAND basis while their phoney baloney software patents must be licensed at whichever value they decide. Apple wanted $30 per Android phone plus Samsung had to pay royalties on any Windows based phones they sold as well.
The universe could as well be infinite as far as we are concerned. There is plenty of room to grow.
Political persecution which is actually what asylum is supposed to be available for.
He is in the Ecuadorian embassy in the UK and Ecuador just granted him asylum.

Well sometimes F-22s do escort aircraft away from restricted airspace.

Feature phones will be replaced by small form factor smartphones in the years to come.
The 10 or 12 models aren't necessarily completely different. You can have a couple of chassis and change the memory and the casing to order.

Please design me a Sony like phone.
Maybe on your shit TN display; but that isn't much of an issue on a iPad with an IPS Retina Display (TM).
Fixed that for you.
There are color e-ink displays on the market. Eventually they will have enough resolution to make color comics or magazines available.
Even if you do turn the backlight down there are enough problems with lack of contrast to make E-Ink better for reading.
You can thank the "retina display" for the loss of your battery life. Other people switched to OLED instead which actually increases battery life.
Apple's products "last" longer but the lemmings change phones every year. So what gives?

Apple basically owns the color black in their little minds.
They claimed a grey tablet or phone wouldn't infringe. Yet they still sued HTC which manufactures grey cellphones which look nothing like the iPhone.

Another Apple user which probably never used a Samsung product.
