Everyone involved in the watch is keen on developing it for a wider market, but that’s a long road full of trials, data and research papers. It could be many years before a viable product for those with Parkinson’s even emerges from a lab, let alone finds its way to companies who can distribute it and then onto the wrists of those who need it.

Also a bit of a warning: that is a horrible website I linked to. >60MB to just load it... And no date for when the article was written, but I'm guessing this month.

  5. Dropped laptop on Abused, But Working Hardware Stories? · · Score: 1
We had a laptop with a WiFi card in the PCMCIA slot. That's one of the early WiFi-card that has an antenna-blob sticking out of it. The laptop fell down on the floor, landing on the WiFi card.
The card got shoved inside the laptop taking out all the PCMCIA slots and scratching the motherboard.

I just opened the laptop, shook out all the loose bits and turned it on again and it worked! (Except for the WiFi of course).
We simply bought an USB-WiFi and it's still working fine. (The incident happened a few years ago).

It's not removed when you do that.
They simply make the executable a hidden file and remove the shortcut.
MSN will still work when you start the executable manually after "removing" it.
(Same goes for Outlook express btw).

Tsk, tsk. It's not size that matters. It's how you use it.
