That's a bold assertion. What happens when they spend all the money on consumer goods produced in Asia?
Is it any of your damned business? Or do you not value personal freedom to do what you wish with your own hard earned money?
Worst case scenario: America spends all its money overseas and we in turn become poor. Good news: Now we are a cheaper market for manufacturing and the cycle of global economic equilibrium reasserts itself.
Correct, hoarding only happens if you tie it up in precious medal and cash stored in your basement. However, if it's all electronic, that money gets re-invested some how some way. In fact the layers of abstraction often becomes so complex that it's next to impossible to truly track down who or what organization is using your money. Point is, money is far to valuable to institutions for it to be setting around "horded" doing nothing. It gets re-invested.
Realistically, and no jokes, maintaining enough ammo on hand is typically the biggest logistics issue a modern, Western, military would have in opposition to a conflict with China
Is it really that big of an issue though these days? Wouldn't sending in drop shipments or using captured enemy weapons/ammo suffice in a time of need? Or is the limitation troop location and training of foreign weaponry?
It should be worth noting that China will not go to war with the US, and that the US will not got to war with China. I mean, these are among the largest nations on earth. We already saw what happened during the Cold War where US and Russia were at each others throat. Talk about a dicey situation! I think (or hope) that the great titan nations have learned to never fight each other. Such a war would lead to a tit-for-tat situation for generations that would dwarf what's happening between Israel and Palestine.
Basically, it would be foolish for the superpower nations to fight amongst each other. There is nothing to be gained and everything to lose.

I'm not obese, but I am somewhat overweight compared to my youth. Aside from vanity, the main reason for dropping weight is because of back problems. There is only so much mass my skeletal muscles can handle before I end up pulling something painful.
As I know, being underweight per BMI can be a serious. So you may (or may not) be healthy but naturally thin. But for sure, being overweight is uncomfortable.
I was skeptical, but still on the fence with this issue. But after killing my soft drink consumption in favor of pure carbonated water, I've shed quite a bit of weight in the span of a few months. I've also felt less hungry.
I'm now a believer that HFCS should be avoided whenever possible. Every now and then is fine to consume products with it as in with anything else in moderation. But when it becomes a major staple of your diet, bad stuff starts to happen to your body.
Everyone do yourself a favor, drop the Mt Dew. It's bad mojo.
Land is so cheap in downtown Houston and NewYork, that never in a million years will you find multi-floored parking garages and parking meters. But oh look! A wide open parking pavement as far as the eye can see.
What the hell are you talking about?! Downtown is expensive. In fact, you will often find parking garages because the land is so expensive. Obviously your definition of what "Downtown" is differs from mine.
I think Google and everyone else knew this was a losing battle. The point however was to call the CCP out in the open and force them to bleed a little. The blood is fresh, but will anyone from the inside the party attempt reform? I find it hard to believe there is no descension among the party. Question is, how many and do they have the courage and fortitude to see this through?
Google better have data destruction plan ready in the event equipment might be seized. Properly low-level formatting drives can take several hours to complete. Several more hours before hand to coordinate.
You can't have a middle class unless you have an upper class. Kill the upper class and you kill the middle class. They are joined at the hip. So keep attacking their wealth and soon we will all be poor. Class warfare never ends well.
Our nation is already bankrupt, this bill now solidifies it. If the "system" implodes, all of the above will be washed to sea anyways. I suppose it was just a matter of time. Nations rise, nations fall. It's the history of the world all over.
I wouldn't say 100%. It really depends on if your a long term investor, or short term trader. Sure, the stock market has always been about buying low and selling high. But, it's bench-marked against the profitability of a corporation. In my case, I've got investments tied up in my IRA (for retirement) because the company I work for is is too cheap to offer a 401K.
Regarding earthquakes, both China and Haiti got hit hard because of the "Tofu Buildings" in place. Basically, they are constructed of an improper concrete mixture and little or no rebar. I seriously doubt you'll find such shoddy construction in America of all places.
According to Wiki, the Nimitz class aircraft carrier at full speed (30 knots / 56 kmh) with a maximum of 260,000 bhp or 190 Megawatts of energy.
Sound about right?

Don't worry, IT will get regulated. Our industry has far too much power that, quite frankly, scares the shit out politicians. They can't leave well enough alone. Never have, never will.
Was never the hardware, but software usage. I wouldn't say that NT 4.0, W2K, and XP were the cause of it, but they didn't really keep track of application garbage collection very well. For example, I could open and close eight common applications over and over for a period of a week at most. Eventually, I would start to encounter strange issues with applications and the OS. Rebooting the PC was the only way to clear them up. And yes I've already tested my hardware and RAM...etc.
Running those versions of Windows in a server (home or office) in one manor or another was never really an issue because applications aren't having to be constantly opened and closed.
Oh you cheap bastard! You dump all that cash on a nice rig, the least you could do is stick with Linux or any other FOSS. But you decided to use a pirated copy of commercial software instead.
I'm not sure what the prices are anyplace else, but here are the prices in the US from Newegg.com. Not bad for an OS. At least your not having to purchase an Adobe or AutoCAD suite.
Windows 7 Home Premium OEM = $104.99 Windows 7 Professional OEM = $139.99 Windows 7 Ultimate OEM = $174.99
Agreed. First version of Windows that I can use in a desktop environment and can keep in running 24/7 for as long as I want. Months on end even. Eventually I will have to reboot to apply updates however. I really can't say the same for XP (though it was better than Win2K) and perhaps Vista as well.
You don't like right wingers? Fine. I don't hold that against you. However, what I do resent is the fact you're so full of piss and vinegar and placing people beneath you of those you disagree with. I Sir, I proudly salute you the middle finger!

I was referring to Mt Dew, not HFCS. My bad.
How is HFCS bad for skinny people?

Could come in the water supply along with fluoride you already get. Maybe not in the USA, but some nation on this planet will think it's a good idea.
Politicians get special bottled water to enhance their genome however.
Let me rephrase that..

It should be enabled by default, but it's not. The Microsoft reasoning behind this is that it uses additional RAM per Explorer.EXE process.
