"Please go off an die" is hardly a good answer to anything. That's oversimplification.
Speaking of which, these articles are just about that: oversimplification. They fail to take in account the exponential population growth when comparing the death toll from the great plague and the like. There's a good deal of potential problems they don't even mention:/
Nonody wants this flashy thing. I'd rather use the MS or Mozilla thing. Macromedia sells another similar product called "Flex" at $10,000 per server. Yay!
Anyway, the article author should apply for the "forum drama" award, it's really pathetic:P
non violent french games? the Rayman Series i guess this law will help firms like Ubi Soft (Rayman and many other games for children), or Eden Studios (VRally).
and btw, here is another quote about pac man;) "Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-man affected us as kids we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive, electronic music." -Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989
Actually, there are a few french start ups, or even experimented firms, in the CGI field. We have great computer art schools too. They mainly works on SFX, sometimes for US movies too.
And don't forget the first digital movie ever shot was French! (Vidoq, made by the guy who made the SFX on Alien 4).

hehe you'd expect them to tell how great or revolutionary Inf is (or just bash us because we're late or something), but not that ;)
