Yeah thats cool, sponge bob is funny and all its just that tv in itself frustrates me, my dad is a heavy fox news channel watcher and its about as biased as news shouldn't be, I gave up after they switched channels so Nickeloden and Fox news where 3 channels apart shitty excuse but computers and other stuff enertain me more.

besides the fact that i don't watch tv or cartoons by choice and I am a little old for such things

I think its good, It proves the point that Apple still has selling innovation and that no matter if your using Feur Von Gates's software you can still get a little warmth and cheer!
Hey hey, Apple in their own right does good things for a market that would be dominated by cheap hardware.
Its simply a matter of choice I would much rather own a Mac then a PC but market dominance is in PC's favor so gaming, cheap hardware etc etc are in the favor of PC's. Apples are easy to use, efficient and relatively fast, oh and they look pretty cool too.
The iPod is right now the top choice for Audiophiles because it offers a ton of space in a quality nearly artistic design.
Hard to argue with what sells.

And what I enjoy the most about using nix is that it comes with all the things you will need music support some enertainment yadda yadda.
hmmn brilliant, The problem is not that windows "owns" the desktop its a matter of userbase. a lot of people who use computers aren't as knowledgable as most/. readers. Your ignorance to the fact that Linux is a superior operating system in all spectrums of performance, security and above all else stability. Leaves me puzzling why you even commented. I would much rather use a Linux desktop then XP anyday. Now I think XP and 2k are the better of the Windows line of operating systems but like anything from Microsoft its usually half done when you get it SP1 and soon to be SP2 did not and I suspect won't fix half the problems and security issues still to be found. So in one sense by marketshare yes Windows has a higher stake then *nix (including os X in that statement) but in the category of what its worth any *nix distro that has a name for itself is worth 3x the price you paid for your current operating system.
Ahh, My first machine is in the corner of my room, its an old 200mhz packard bell with the neccesary 4mb S3 trio. That was never supported by X very well. Hell getting lilo to work was ajoke because you would boot and it would just print LLLLLLLL across the screen. I also remeber having a bad power supply electrocute me many many times just so I could answer a few messages and play some starcraft. the memories:-D
this remind me of the parent who threw a fit at the fact that we had metal slides and there for posed a risk to us getting burned on our arse's they had to close the playground for 2 days to put up a plastic slide it was ugly and like pink. I despise hell raising parents.

Valve has been a staple in the gaming industry and Half Life 2 and its engine are going to completly change the market of FPS's in other words your pretty much sticking your fucking face in the powder the holy grail once was (Indiana Jones) so do me a favor take a note and go FUCK your self.

ahhh your right. Let me rephrase it then, for someone who needs a secure, stable, and performance driven desktop linux is one of the best choices
