He is right though, that you can rip MP3's way faster from CD than off most P2P's. Like when I moved into a dorm with only about 250 music files. When I left two months later I had that up to just under 2000 files without ever using a network connection of any sort and only spending an hour or so a day borrowing CD's and looking for what I wanted.
I would think it is because the CD is rather uniform in it's weight distribution and so it is rather stable when spun up to speed. So you would need to find a way to achieve the same degree of stability for the laser while keeping it in motion. Although even if you get it as stable as the CD I think you have still doubled the chances of having a write error occur. Just an engineering problem really and as long as the product was as reliable as what I use now and not to pricey I would buy one.
Dang missed it!
Oh well, it'll be interesting to see what happens with this. I can't hardly think of any software that I have bought that wasn't a good deal less than it promised.
uh... duh that is cause almost all women Sean Connery's age are ugly and since that is about all that matters to us, the viewing public, it'd be a bad idea to pair one with anyone in a movie meant to sell tickets. However if you will recognize the fact that women do not solely base there attraction to a male on physical appearance but rather 50% of it is dependant on the mans power/wealth, see www.intellectualwhores.com/ladderintro.html for more information on the subject. And if I am not mistaken they did not give any real reference to his age in that movie he could have been in his late forties or maybe younger and she also was not set at any particular age though she was probably in her 30's.
lol yeah I R always thought it would be good too.
