"Nobody said it was, moron. I've been sounding the video violence horn for six years now. sorry you missed it."
heres what i sent him, its a mix of some of the better points made so far
Heres a fun question: What makes sex worse than violence?
Or better yet, how about cable Tv which millions of parents subcribe
to, but don't moniter what thier children watch?
For example: It's funny how, after so many season of high-rated TV
shows (NYPD, Nip and Tuck, Sopranos, Hill Street Blues, The Shield,
South Park, anything ever made by Aaron Spelling, Buffy, OC, and 90%
of network prime time, and the News), you go after video games as if
these are the things "poisoning our youth". Things have gotten so bad
that cheerleaders in grade school are actually being taught to dance
suggestively. The parents actually ENCOURAGE this sort of behavior.
The parents are also buying their kids video games (like San Andreas)
without even paying attention to what it is. It seems to me that
parents today want the government to raise their kids and want no part
in their upbringing whatsoever.
So, to finish off, why are you going after a medium that has to be
bought at a store, through a clerk with a rating, rather than what's
aviable on national TV?
