How many pace makers fail because they divide by zero....? Probably the same number of Gas stations that blow up because you use your cell phone around the tanks.
so either 1/0 != 1/(0^2) or there could be some way to connect the two and let 1/0 = infinity...
I don't really know. I haven't looked at any cal since last fall, so I may just be totally trying to do something completely mathematically incorrect.
Its not nesissarily true of all colleges. I am currently at a small community college where I started taking classes so i could transfer to a major college and get a degree in CS. The classes that are recommended/required are mostly math. There is so much math involved that I have begun to consider switching to a Math degree or at least a double major in Math and CS.
i occasionally use the stable linux version of skype. It works well, but it seems that when skype is running some other stuff slows down, but other than that, i was extremely impressed with the quality in both windows and linux.
As for the video side of things... I kinda skimmed it doesn't look like they are saying one way or another on whether or not they will continue to support linux with this new push for video. I really hope they do. I haven't found a single decent video client that I can get installed on my linux box. I think maybe CUSeeMe may work(?), but i cant justify it right now.. and gnomemeeting has worked in the past, but i cant get it installed on my slackware installation with KDE. Theoretcially i might be able to get it if I wanted to invest that kind of time to find the the 1200 akward dependancies that I have been having a hard time with, but i just isn't worth it right now...
but the fact that not all people can afford to spend over $100 on proprietary software for a proprietary format that is _FORCED_ by a government... that is a little bit more of an issue to me when it could be accesible for free using an OpenSource solution...
Kinda funny you should say so... The opposite seems to be assumed just as much. "Just because i don't understand why something bad/good happens, there must be no God in control."

I was thinking about this earlier.
lim x->0+ (1/x) = inf
lim x->0- (1/x) = -inf
But....
lim x->0+ (1/x^2) = inf
lim x->0- (1/(x^2)) = inf
so either 1/0 != 1/(0^2) or there could be some way to connect the two and let 1/0 = infinity...

So if they find the gene that makes oranges orange, and then they modify it, will we have to change the name?
I can't wait to try the new reds and purples!
Hey, they may actually pay more more there....

This is a professor too, isn't it?

Why write in haiku? It takes way too much effort besides it.... summer

Dude, i am in linux and it works fine... it is a flash file, not shockwave...
