Microsoft has an appeals process and will likely get an injunction against enforcement while they pursue said appeal, which may take years.
So for now just speculate and pretend MS will have to abide by the sanctions. By the time the ruling does take place users will be familiar enough (if they are not already) with WMP that it would be hard for anything to take its place. If a user has purchased any addins for WMP it is unlikely for them to prefer another player. Personally I think this is more of a burden for the users because they will have to find the newest WMP to download then its 4-5 patches.
and I think the service great. There will be some who will fight for free downloads forever but for those looking for a legal alternative I would recommend Napster. I always listen to music while I am working so with Napster I always have a constant stream. I would not be surprised to see even more growth from Napster. For some reason I just can not allow myself to buy or use anything from apple.
I guess I was just branded by Napster when I was in college.
I know that SBC owns some of Cingular, but dont they also have a piece of Vodaphone? I read this on the internet so it HAS to be true. I am curious to see if wireless's ownership will be owned by a few like our Media outlets.
I wonder if Cingular called it "My takeover plan".
Instead of being "stinking rich" he wants to wait so he can be "filthy stinking rich".
I am currently "filthy stinking" and just waiting for the rich part.
I agree that msdn search is horrible. Search on something simple like "TSQL reference" and you have to weed through results to find it. I always do my msdn searches on google too.
Its all fun and games until you get caught.
Erm whats p2p? I just used kazaa cause I thought it was the hip thing to do. Those files listed with the little bar thingies....... I thought people were just listening to them from my machine and it was just buffering them.
So if persons are exploiting my email address for profit should I get some kind of compensation?
I say the family should be forced to eat a can of spam for each piece of spam mail they sent.
I am just waiting for the lawsuits.
