I won't play in a server with a Ping greater than 80ms:) and there are literally hundreds of servers I can play in.
A 150 ping in Tribes2 IS UNPLAYABLE, though it is do-able in UT or Q3. I would strafe around your butt and shoot you in the back before you knew what was happening:) The days of broadband mean sub 100 ms pings should be in order.
As a dedicated LAN hound, ONLINE GAMING SUCKS....

RTS from westwood. Same game, different pixels...ho humm...yawn..RTS has become as staid as FPS these days. Why is it only RPG games that seem to advance or try new things ??
is called a JES3 comples, we run one with 8 local systems each is an s/390 or z series machine. is a MONSTER batch processing environment. CICS/IMS/DB2 etc....
What makes you think the files from a previous user would be there or that you could even access them ? If it is one thing the Big Iron machine have down it is SECURITY.
Try a mitsubishi, but SONY and APPLE crt's have al;ways been good. My experience with LCD's has not been nice but I am quite sure I've never USED a GOOD one:)

I have to agree, RBL has the right to block whatever they want, but to just make a site disappear is not right. They should let users KNOW it is blocked and for what violations/reasons.
M$ will take a loss on each of these puppies in hopes of making their money from licensing and future games. So buy one, cmon a GEFORCE3 video card, it is gonna BLOW away the competition. When you have it just never play it or pirate the games and M$ will lose even more. The parent of this comment said it best, IT KILLED THE DREAMCAST:)

I have to agree, the IPAQ hardware rocks, and has potential to become even better. It has to be to hold and support the bloated diseased cow of an OS called WinCE. My nomad juke box does MP3's better than any pda and has more room. Text paging is really the only wireless application I use, email is fairly lame as has been pointed out previously. It is ok to read email but try and make any serious response. I still have and USE my palm Vx all the time.
and then one horrible day I lost my DAYPLANNER. I missed meeting and calls for 3 weeks. Thats when I got my PALM Vx and the ability to sync:) Now the goldmine of info is safe in 3 places, the palm, my work PC, and my home machine:)
I could function, but much LESS efficiently without my electronic conscience

I don't think they said NOT POSSIBLE TO LIKE, I think they implied actual physical ability and geekness were incompatible. I love Hockey myself, and am a season Sharks ticket holder, I also make alot of the SF giants games, but I can't play either sport to save my life...

I doubt it. They are using either LARGE SCALE DASD, 3390 or some such thing. RAID is CHEAP, and that is one thing they don't use...

Yes and KDS make very DECENT monitors, just got one for the spare PC myself.
