  1. No rounded corners? on Slashdot CSS Redesign Winner Announced · · Score: 0, Redundant

This is just wrong! Are we going back in time? When the entire world is going to Web 2.0 = rounded corners?

Seriously speaking, I love the new font and the blockquote... Better than the perma italics. Only the new design looks a little too much spaced out for my taste.

Oh and could someone please tell me why we are having this redesign? I don't see a vast difference as such!

So what now, one fine day M$ will buy Yahoo! as well?

Er, isn't it rather easy to block access to a particular site?

Nothing really stops them from doing that, except M$ itself...

  4. Re:Decent temperatures on How to Keep Your Computer Cool · · Score: 1

All Intel processors are built in with thermal protection that will throttle the processor or shut it down in case of overheating. My 2.8 GHz Prescott manages to run, at a lower speed, even at 93 degrees celcius. It does throttle badly. In effect, you cannot damage your CPU, even if you remove the heat sink! Check out Tom's Hardware Guide for more details of their CPU burning tests.. ;-)

  5. One kilo what? on Breathe Under Water Without Oxygen Tanks · · Score: 1
Calculations showed that a one kilo Lithium battery can provide a diver with about one hour of diving time.
One kilo what? One kilo watt? or One kilo weight? I thought they measured batteries in Ah.
