Yeah, I've seen the guides, just haven't done it because I wanted to send this one in for warranty stuff before. But things made it so that year has passed so I'll see what happens.
There are lots of good reasons to not buy Apple, such as incredible overpriced, crippled configurations, vendor lockin. So I understand you:)
But how does it sound? I've got the impression people don't think they sound as good as dedicated mp3-players?
Also many phones have decent resolutions but lack the format support, an open one have a better chance of getting VLC or something like that running I guess.
I want an external firewire case for a 3.5" HDD simply because it's faster but I find them hard to come by compared to USB ones. I wonder if Apple have convinced themselves that USB 2 is just as good or almost as good or why they choose to remove it.
Maybe they just think it's simpler with less ports?
Yeah, I know the Macbooks had an opening for the HDD but not the Pros. Rather weird. I'll open mine up some day anyway.
With an open one you can get standardized, replaceable, skinnable menues, contact lists, syncable calendars, and so on. Things can be fixed, they can't on a closed one.
1) Is that with some forced on expensive phone plan for months or just the phone? I'd expect that kind of phone to cost around 3500-4000 sek or so, so like 600 dollar or something, over here that is. But then just for the phone unlocked and all.
I don't care what a locked phone with subscription cost, in that case most phones cost 1 sek but so what?
2) But cheap phones can be bought for around 500 sek, or like 80 dollar. They still do what a phone should do.
3) Because it's cool that it's open and can run plenty of apps?
I don't care for "free phones with plan." Since like, you know, they aren't free (as in beer.)
But then again yes, USA helps some countries become democratic / remove dictators/ whatever, but obviously not all countries. Though I guess it's hard to fix the whole world at once and USA have no obligations to do that.
(They also mentioned how you had the choice to just ignore it all and don't do anything. Then people wouldn't had the chance to blame it all on you, but then again the leaders didn't cared so much about all the lame whining =P. And I guess if USA didn't interfered but still had a huge powerful military force some people would start complaining how you didn't do anything instead:D)
(I think the polish people discussed who else would had helped them, the british? Not likely that they'd care, and so on.)
You mean like with any SIP provider which let you transfer your number to their services and give / sell / let you buy an ATA-box? Yeah, that makes them very special indeed...
Yeah, I don't see why they would break VoIP either. It's my phone, and how is it in Googles or HTC intrest to keep VoIP not from running? Sure in the US it may only sell from T-mobile for now but whatever.
When I buy the phone with no subscription in Sweden if it's released I expect to be allowed to take whatever provider and plan I want if any and use it in any way I'd like. If that includes SIP then fine.
And we have Tre with Skype here to. But I'd never buy a phone for Skype.
The G1 isn't available in Europe yet but even if it was it would probably be to expensive. They should make something cheap which more or less could just handle a call but still using the same OS for the masses to.
I like to have an open phone but I don't want to invest a fortune in a phone because I don't use it very much and I believe and mp3-player/pmp/DSLR/.. handle its things better.
Over here in Sweden TV8 showed "The Anti-American" talking about how various european saw at USA. They talked with people in Poland, France and the UK. Maybe there was some italians or something to.
Very interesting and it somewhat made me feel bad for saying stupid things about USA sometimes. Then french people was the most funny one talking about how everyone in USA except in NY was rasists and also how to keep the american culture and english words and influences out of their country.
Yeah right, because french people are so open minded when it comes to influences themself? And they don't think everyone should learn french? Hillarous.
The polish people really liked you and looked up against you, seeing america as the saviour against everyone invading poland. And the UK as your strongest ally obviously like you to except they want to be the imperial worlds #1 force and not just follow lead as it is now:)
Sure we complain about your wars and playing world police, but in the end us europeans and everyone else always wait to long and do to little so I guess it's good that USA step in and fix up the crap, even if it's not a really democratic decision. The sad part is that you just step in where you have something to gain from stepping in, so problems in countries where you don't gain anything from interfering nothing will happen. But that's fairly understandable in general to.
Oh, and they talked about how Europe, china (?) and especially japan needed the oil from the middle east region much more than USA but didn't helped to keep it political stable and keep the oil flowing. We just took the benefit without helping. Japan can always blame it on how they are pacifists. And also how you could have got the oil real cheap anyway so they argued that wasn't the factor, at least not egoistic and just for your own sake.
1) Don't buy AAC tracks if you have no device which can play them.
2) Just a retard would buy a black macbook for a premium. Of course you can use Linux, how is Expose stealing? Now OS X releases have new features, sure I'd also argue they are not worth the full price.
3) Of course there exist cracked OS X software.
4) It doesn't run because Apple don't want it to run.
5) Yeah, x86 isn't that cool but since it's better for now I understand them.
The rest was even more useless junk which even less deserves to be answered and is such a waste of everyone time.
I doubt their glossy one is anything different and better but still people do have different opinions in this question. Quite a few people actually like glossy screens, some don't.
I have a glossy one (Two generations old MBP?), I have no problems whatsoever with it.
I think it's a much bigger deal that THEY KEYBOARD REST AGAINST YOUR SCREEN. Wtf is up with that? How is that a good design decision? My screen gots "shades" of some of the keys on it. Yeah, excellent!! How very well though off!
And then I very rarely bring the notebook anywhere so you can imagine how it would be if it traveled around closed a lot.
Other issues is obviously TN-panel, low resolution, slow TN-panel on top of that.
Yeah, I've seen the guides, just haven't done it because I wanted to send this one in for warranty stuff before. But things made it so that year has passed so I'll see what happens.

Cowon O2 supports:
Video: Divx 3.11/4/5/6, Xvid, Mpeg-4 SP/ASP, WMV 7/8/9, H.264, Mpeg 1, och MJpeg.
Audio: WMA, AAC, AC3, FLAC, Ogg Vorbis, OGG FLAC, Apple Lossless, True Audio, Monkey Audio, MusePack, Eavepack, G.726, PCM.
Especially some of the video formats would be nice to have, and without re-encoding the videos to a lower bitrate.

If you really pay like $ 50.000 extra just to get the sport car in yellow instead of red, yes, you're a retard.
But most people get a sport car and pay more for it because they get a different kind of car.
The black macbook is more like putting on stripes on your 20 year old volvo.
"Oh, buy this car, it has a spoiler!! It's so cool!"
Well, I wouldn't support such a scheme of ideological reasons, even if I would had wanted the black one. So, still retards.
Feel free to.
Even worse, if he has 36 ACCOUNTS he can have multiple CHARACTERS on each account, so it may be many more than 30.
Actually the title should read 30 WOW characters, not Warcraft characters.
Warcraft don't mean WOW.
Many of the Nokia N handsets can run SIP, I don't know if they have wifi and can connect over that.
With an open one you can get standardized, replaceable, skinnable menues, contact lists, syncable calendars, and so on. Things can be fixed, they can't on a closed one.
Of course we already have a thread about this three news items down below on the frontpage for this: here.
Ah, I didn't thought/got that we where talking about a cellphone. Yeah, nice of them if they include and provide that feature.
Would make economic sense as well if they have a unlimited calls plan.

Distribution obviously android.
Is that for viruses and such or wha kind of apps risk the treatment?

Sure if it really IS a kick ass mp3/pmp player.

Anyway, interesting program.

Uhm, I guess both can do Cuda/OpenCL?
The black border isn't that great imho, but it's ok. Same for keys I guess.
But new macbook vs old one? Definitly. Way better than plastic.
NNT NG! (New-new Technology Next Generation!)
