The PS2 controllers are anything but perfection. I in fact just added a PS2 to my collection, and I must say, I find it the most uncomfortable (not to mention the least well built) of the three controllers. I'm downright stunned they didn't move the left analog stick to the primary position. Also, I think MS has a good thing going with triggers instead of shoulder buttons...I was hoping Sony would adopt that as well (beats the hell out of using the right stick for racers and such).
That said, I could give a crap what it looks like if it doesn't hurt my hands.
