I was under the impression that NUMA code was contributed by SGI when they made their unfortunate leap into linux. At least that is what their marketting at the time seemed to indicate.

I don't really think it's a security issue. I think its a support issue. They don't want to support additional clients.
Not that I have a problem with IMAP but I wouldn't trust M$ just because they said so.

I was pretty excited about this update, until I downloaded it, and couldn't connect to my Exchange Server, because there is no way our admins are turning any of that crap on. They gave me the slap down about OWA ages ago. IMAP? Forget it. I think they might have LDAP going, but hell if I can get it to work with Entourage.
What's the point of an Exchange update, if it doesn't work with Exchange's protocol of choice MAPI?
I think I'll stick to the OSX Mail client/Address book. It's less of a hassle and it syncs with my phone.
It'd be nice to sync my work calendar on my palm pilot without conversion gyrations, but its just not working out.
I'm still waiting for M$ to release their update to entourage, which is supposed to handle the Exchange/Outlook thing.
In the meantime, I've had some luck with Outport
( http://outport.sourceforge.net/ ) for moving calendar information around. There are a couple of things I found I had to clean up for iCal to take the calendar from Evolution to iCal, but that's the beauty of OSX. Perl is right there for you.
Sony Ericsson T608 is 'supposed' to be released this month. Blue Tooth...Yee haw.
yeah, I got excited when I saw the link to SprintPCS too, and they flat out told me they don't have anything for Mac Users.
I'm still hanging in there for the 'unlimited vision' if you don't void your TOS agreement...hehe.
'24 hours' doesn't mean those hours are in a row.
Drugs of the future...making better employees
