I believe this only applies to your commitment at the time of your enlistment. When I went in the AF, the commitment was 8 years. 4 years active duty, and 4 years of inactive reserves. I finally got out after 8 years of active duty, I am NOT subject to recall because my original commitment was completed. So, the blanket statement above is inaccurate.

Thought we were talking about desktops? Most serious servers run headless. Kinda takes the "desktop" outta the equation. That's what I was refering to.

Keyword "server". I don't usually run a "desktop" on my Sun Servers... Sigh. I hate it when people compare apples to oranges.

But my favorite line: "Useless to say that the trombones must be out of metal (not out of plastic, good blood!!!!) and drivers (quite brilliant, that inspires more confidence than whole chechmates which have the air very sick...). " You don't say?

I wonder if someone could "bait" their webserver so RIAA wastes their time... Like, make a directory /files/downloads/for_riaa then use mkfile to generate a few 2mb files with names like Usher, Metallica etc... It could be kinda funny to document this, and see what results you get. Hell, get a bunch of people to do it, and really waste their time checking all of them :)
