Well, then my suggestion is to buy an HP slate. It's uber shitty not because it's poorly designed, but because the OS does nothing to allow you to use it in a manner appropriate for a device that you use your finger to control.

The thing that most geeks don't take into consideration is the "Can my grandmother use this?" What good is a world of software and open systems if the person who is trying to use it, can't even figure out how to adjust the volume? Linux and Microsoft just can't seem to wrap their head around this concept.
I think it's actually a huge step forward! Imagine a world of technology that is available to EVERYONE, not just us elite geekoids and those who are the right side of the digital divide! This device bridges the digital divide.

iTunes works with a number of USB MP3 players in addition to the iPod. I personally use it with a Rio. Works like a charm ;-)
