I'm exactly in the same boat. I would love to buy an Apple, probably a 15" powerbook, but the prices are just so high that I can't justify it. Not to mention I'd have to buy Photoshop as well, at Adobes obscene price.
I just wish they were a bit more competitive in their pricing. =(
Ok how come I read that as Bill Gates will allow the FBI to monitor file sharing.

Not to go too far off topic but SWG isn't what people think it is. I spent the last few months in beta and the game is nowhere near ready to be released though they're releasing it next week.
Lots of bugs, and some really bad design flaws that will push a lot of people away.
