Why should ATI waste their time and money on a tiny user base that will generate no significant revenue? The NVIDIA card costs $100 more and is slightly louder than a lawnmower.
So NVIDIA finally moved to a 256-bit bus and put faster memory their newest architecture, but it still can't beat the older ATI card half the time. Coclusion: NV35 sucks.
BTW, ATI cards have better support for TV's and other devices.
Maybe they should toss in small packet of Cheerios in every box of Corn Flakes. How is it fair competition to force a company to include a competitor's product inside their own?
Enron and WorldCom are the minority rather than the rule. Most companies expand because they provide desirable goods and services at competitive rates. Regulating business for the sake of regulation only serves to promote inefficiency and incompetence.
It'd be better if Slashdot actually posted arguments on both sides instead of preaching to the choir by posting some random opinion written by an activist lawyer.
