I mildly have some of the symptoms of ADHD but don't actually have it; just have been attenion-seeking and hyperactive in the past, with wild mood swings.
I wrote qBasic programs in my youth too to test out my range of hearing, and I could hear noticiable pitch up until about 20-22kHz. I do hear older TV's and Monitors whine and it bugs me up the wall, and though I notice that not many other people can hear this, I do have friends who definitely aren't ADHD affected and can also hear it.
I had attributed it to my musically encouraged care of my hearing but it is very interesting the point you identify about the correllation of hearing range and ADHD symptoms.
