  1. Re:Doesn't this get TOO salty? on Saltwater Agriculture · · Score: 2
Salt accumulation, which has ruined farmers in the Aral Sea basin and California's Imperial Valley, isn't a problem. The plain and underground water table are already salty, and the constant flushing of irrigation, Hodges says, ensures that the fields won't exceed the salinity of the water

You'd look a lot less uncool if you read up on the engine features Unreal Warfare adds. Warfare isn't "vaporware", by the way. In fact, a few shots of Warfare were released just the other day...

Engine lisencees have access to Unreal Warfare code already, it's just a matter of them using what they have. I don't know why you think Unreal is the worst thing in the world.. it's a steal at around $400 thousand, and Epic treats their licensees like kings.

uscript is AWESOME! check out http://unreal.epicgames.com/UnrealScript.htm for a doc that describes the language (written by the author). It's a great language - elegant, simple, and very high level - but doesn't have much use outside of Unreal/UT or Unreal engine games :(

Do you think 'neural nets' will have a role in AI's future? And, do you think it possible (even a good idea) to use a 'multi-layer' sort of approach.. a sort of AI that uses nets, fuzzy logic, etc. to produce a more versatile 'intelligence'?
