If I remember right, I saw an option in the 2.4.x kernel that had the option for large memory support. The choices were either 4GB or 64GB. But come to think of it, I'm not sure if that's for RAM or memory addressing.
ISPs should impose an E-embargo against MCI because they support spammers. All mail and traffic from MCI should be blocked until MCI stops helping spammers.
It's the asteroid that the technodrome is stuck on in Dimension-X. Since Krang and Shredder couldn't pull the technodrome back to Earth, they pulled the entire asteroid into our solar system.
Would it be possible by some miracle that Cigarette Smoking Man somehow made a comeback? The last I saw, he was blown up by missiles from helicopters while hiding in ruins.
It seems that fraudulent claims in the wake of disaster are becoming commonplace. During 9/11 there were many scams and fake pleas for disaster relief. Such claims are no different than denying people the help that they need. In a way, it's almost like a DOS attack against victims.
Instead of using wireless on cameras, they could have used wired connections and allowed a VPN login. That might have been a *little* safer. So much for Closed Circuit TV.
I worked on a system that was infested with spyware and adware. I ran both Spybot and Adaware on it. I still wasn't certain that the worst was gone, so I downloaded Trojan Hunter and there were numerous trojans found on the system. They were listed as adware trojans.
Our government gives more money and help to other countries than it gives us! They gave Israel money for healthcare but they couldn't do anything for us here at home.
It's like the government scaring people into giving up their freedoms for security. Since most people are uneducated, they will fall for it. They don't know any better. And that plays into Microsoft's hands because A)people will think that Microsoft isn't at fault and B)Experts will appear descredited in the eyes of the consumer.
And Eeye doesn't know what it's talking about. They've never heard of "Marked safe for scripting" ActiveX controls. You know, the kind that are *supposed* to be safe but have been modified to infect and/or damage computers. That's hardly a user error.
When people let corporations spy on them willfully, they surrender their right to privacy. But these kind of people don't just stop with spyware. They let it go all the way up to the government. It's the uncaring and uneducated masses that have left our nation in a state of peril and uncertainty. When people stop caring, freedoms start disappearing.
Unless they plan on running that Datacenter with advanced AI, they have another thing coming. Not only can the servers and software screw up, but so can the machines running them.
An assembly line is one thing. But a datacenter is another thing altogether. Isn't heat and airflow an issue at datacenters? Wouldn't making things automated result in more heat because of all the machinery invovled?

Will this technology make it easier for systems to withstand DoS Attacks?
You're getting what you pay for.
I'd rather lose 1/3 than 3/3. Besides that, Worldcom had to file chapter 11. That doesn't aspire me much confidence.

Lucent Technologies broke off of AT&T. That dropped AT&T down from being a phone company to just being a company that provides phone service.
Why is Microsoft complaining about security liablity of Linux when they're writing and selling a desktop for it?
You mean that big red button wasn't the coffee maker? Oops.
"Must be uh, must be why we're not shipping Longhorn yet."
The biggest advantages of LCD over CRT are weight and space.

Don't forget about those safe for scripting controls. Those can be modified to do some nasty stuff too.
Also, setting a web page as a background on your desktop can delete your hard drive if the web page has malicious ActiveX controls.

Europa is one of Jupiter's moons.
Isn't there an underground lake in Anarctica that yields the possibility of life on Europa?
