Hey are you working for SCO? You're claiming fact when you have lack of proof, much like the SCO vs Linux case. Netcraft doesnt mention that BSD is losing Market Share. I will not listen to a psychic because thats bullsh!t. And you're telling me the only users who use BSD are on Usenet!?! I'm a BSD user and I dont use usenet. FreeBSD did not go out of business, you have to have a business in the first place to go out of business. BSDI maybe on life support, thats about the only accurate claim you had made. Get proof before you post your little crappy "BSD is Dying" posts.
And your words betray your point. If this were true, then BSD/OS or FreeBSD would not be the only ones with the longest uptime as the values get cycled after 497 days. Fact is if your point were correct then you would see HP-UX, Linux, or Solaris up there too.
BSD is not dead...Its just resting peacefully...
Nah but seriously, if you look at what Apache.org is running they pretty much are owned by FreeBSD, and netcraft apparently has the longest uptime average and BSD/OS and FreeBSD won it hands down (considering out of all OSs out there those two are the only ones listed). Not to mention Netcraft runs bsd:)
BSD is not dying. Go look at netcraft, BSD/OS and FreeBSD are the only operating systems listed with the longest uptime. Go look at what Apache.org websites are running all FreeBSD except for two or three servers are Linux or Mac OS X (which consists like 90% FreeBSD servers).
