As the parent of two children with high functioning autism I must disagree with your #1.
All the statistics I have seen reported were corrected for the change of the definition of autism to a spectrum disorder.
My current belief based on the plethora of info I've seen over the past 3 years is that autism is a disease just like heart disease or cancer. It comes from genetic predisposition and environmental factors.
Current thought is that much of the problem is caused by a dysfunctional toxin removal system so toxins build up in your system. My oldest son has had a single exposure to mercury when he broke a CFL bulb and we didn't know at the time to immediately get him out of the house. Today a toxin screening still shows high levels of mercury in his system.
I'm not a rabid environmentalist but I believe we live in a much more toxic world than in years past and it's largely responsible for the rise in autism diagnosis.
If you spoke to someone who said they were a libertarian and was for corporate bailouts, then I can tell you they are not libertarian at all. The Libertarian candidate for president, Bob Barr (www.bobbar2008.com) was categorically against the bailout.
But, I'd like to respond to what will, I'm sure, become flood of libertarian posts by people who managed to pick themselves up by their parent's bootstraps. Government hands out billions of dollars of welfare a year and most of it does NOT go to struggling citizens. Most of it is wrapped up in corporate tax credits or in under-valued water, mining, forestry, radio-frequency, grazing and other leases that convert public property into private profits. I'll take the libertarian "The government is not your daddy" position seriously when the libertarians start talking about the real welfare system.
I read this paragraph 3 times and I still can't understand what you mean about Libertarians. As far as my parents, they are middle class, I'm middle class, so I'm wondering exactly who's boot straps you're speaking of...
Browsing the comments I saw a lot about how to stop spyware at the corporate level. My problem is at home. I'm the admin for my computer and I don't plan on making myself a limited account and try to make everything work. What options do I have? Settings/Changing Windows Policy/Software?
He didn't say that the federal government was not able to collect income tax. He said the IRS, which is completely different. Though I don't have any paper to back this up with, what I remember is that there were laws passed to allow for the EXISTANCE of the IRS, but not to actually IMPLEMENT it. Also, from what I remember, the IRS is not a government entity, but a corporation registered in Puerto Rico.

First, in my experience only MSNBC has a liberal bias.
You're kidding right? I guess you've never watched CNN then.

Are there any Microsoft branded players? I'm not aware of any but I'm not in the market either. Also, doesn't Microsoft own like 20% of Apple?
