$300 is an absurd price for the N-Gage, since most cellphones are free, and the GBA (a way better gaming device) is much cheaper. A gaming device needs to be ranked by the games it plays anyways, and I still haven't heard what will be available if I buy the damn thing.

then I'd have to pay someone to read it. I know ignorence isn't that great of a defence in court, but it shouldn't be the public's responsibility to go out of its way to find out what's right and wrong.
While he may be right about games being a learning tool, they can't teach everything. The problem with video games is that they often replace other sources of entertainment such as reading. In your opinion, what is more educational, a computer simulation or a book? Even if they were equal in this respect, most kids play more games than they read books, or they spend the time watching TV (something for the most part uneducational and mind-numbing).

This one movie I saw mentioned a document they refered to as "The Constitution". I hope that sometime in the future, we'll be able to live with this great invention. Some government officials, though, would call the idea way too radical.

With so many ask slashdot questions that are basically "my boss expects me to work 12 hours a day with no compensation, what should I do?", things can't get too much worse.
