    I read a comment on OSNews that it is "vmware". Apparently he guessed it. I haven't tried it though...

    But the NASCAR driver has a drivers license and has been training for years to drive that car. Computer users on the otherhand don't have any training and are expected to be able to effectively use a piece of complex technology.

    Yes, techies are required when computers break down, exactly the same as mechanics fix broken cars.

    SUMMARY: People don't have innate knowledge of computers, just as they don't have have an innate ability to drive cars. Some training is definitely needed.

    I don't really know much about CAD in industry but can someone explain where Bentley'ssoftware fits in with other CAD programs. The first time I heard of this company was when my brother, a draftsman for the state electricity company told me he uses Microstation. Any insight?

    I believe here in Australia that the speed limit on most country roads is 110km/h.

    The time consuming part of a credit card transaction is where the cashier checks your signature against the one on the back of the card.
    I disagree. When I worked on a checkout in a supermarket I found the most time consuming part of the transaction was:
    • waiting for the customer to get search through their wallet for the right card,
    • swiping it a few times,
    • forgetting to press ok to confirm transaction,
    • waiting for the system to connect and authenticate,
    • waiting for the slip to print out.
    Handing the slip to the customer, them squiggling on it and me having a quick look to see if the two squiggles was not the hold up in the process.
