I was under the impression that if you're launching something into space you want to be as near to the equator as possible, as you get a boost from the rotation of the earth. Why launch rockets from somewhere so far north?
This issue has the support of 94 (!!!) percent of people last I checked on the Globe and Mail's online poll.
That's an insane amount of support. It's ok to call "invasion of privacy" when workers get fired for blogging, but when kids post something immature (surprise) on a private site about a teacher they can get suspended?
This is a hypothetical situation that only occurs if you purposely use the system wrong.
Normally, if you enter your number for your number, and their number for their number, everything is charged as it should be... and nothing AT ALL is charged unless you get charged for you cell airtime. If someone was actually abusing this their friends would get right pissed off in no time, if a company was abusing this they would get in so much legal trouble... this is a non-issue.
QoS (i.e. "Gamefirst" I guess?) can have a very significant effect on ping, so it might not be entirely snake oil. However if there's more than one person on your network it's useless to have it on the NIC, and you can get decent, _cheap_ QoS on a custom firmware on a WRT54GL router. You could also get the same effect from just turning off your bloody P2P.
While not entirely snake oil, this is pretty useless, people will buy it though because while there's $300++ video and sound cards, there isn't a network card that's that expensive, and you know... err... more money == better?
Consoles are almost always sold at a loss and make money through game licensing, video cards must make a profit.
If I owned a video card company and could sell a "pimped out" card for $1000 of mostly profit, I certainly would, I'd be stupid not to.

How can a flu strain be antibiotics resistant? The flu is a virus.
