Of course, they run the risk that IBM will hostily take over SCO and shut the suit down in an instant. Since this would give more public evidence for "SCO's claims", MS would be perfectly happy.
IBM could of course, try exactly the same as Microsoft: pay some third party company under the table, ask them to buy out SCO, order them to make it look as they "believe" in the lawsuit, and then loose it.
This of course, is expensive, and unethical. But i suspect it would also be funny in this case <G>
From what i read on the website, it is basically the same as Mandrake 9.2, which has kernel 2.4.22 and Linux 2.6.0pre kernel provided in contribs.
Since this is a static cd-rom system, i think it is safe to say the kernel will be 2.4.22 and NOT 2.6.
I think this is a good thing, 2.6 is out only fairly recently, while 2.4.22 has proven itself to be extremely stable. Once you have burned the cd, its kinda hard to install an update, so going for stability doesn't seem that weird to me.
Just a device that is able to monitor your glucose level continuously, like say, trough a wireless connection with your PDA or even your watch would be a tremendous advancement.
Such a device could e.g. warn you when your glucose level is too low or too high by sounding an alarm and possible (if you are asleep for example) save your life...
Defenitely worth some research...
