I'd try to get them to see that planets move differently than the background of stars. Mars, Jupter, Saturn and Venus can be used for this. Especially Venus because the course will take place in the spring. Even over a period of just one week visible displacement can be seen against the background (at the same time each morning or evening).
Yep. Ultra-cool stuff. Designed the Cogent Research XTM workstation around it. 32 processors with a dynamically reconfigurable interconnect. Some of the most fun I ever had.
As was mentioned before, it's only polite to ask for permission. Having worked on software teams and managing and even owning a company that produced custom software, I would not have been pleased at all if one of my staff had added something superfluous to the code without permission.
There is also the other issue. If you have time to add an easter egg and it comes about that you failed to do something else (like fix bugs), it would make me wonder what other nonproductive undertakings you are/have been involved with on company time.
I use WildBlue. I get download speeds of about 1.2Mbps with a 17GB monthly BW at around $80/mo. Like others, I can't believe that you got VOIP to work at all. I typically experiend 1,600ms - 1,800 ms ping times. I tried Starband (echostar/hughes) with good success but about twice the price, slower download speeds and less BW.
2.4 GHz is an unlicensed band and I'm pretty sure that PGE has no rights to their (wireless) airspace. The only thing they could do is install active equipment within the park to block 2.4 GHz signal. But that would probably mess up their own wireless networking.
This is just another example of a failing venture trying to sell anything they have and a vendor delving into areas they don't quite understand.
to Asimov's psychohistory?
Knowledge = Power
P= W/t
t=Money
Money = Work/Knowledge
Wouldn't that be:
Money = W/K = W/(W/t) = W*(t/W) = t
So, either Money = time (and vice-versa) or time = time. Or did I miss something?

Shouldn't SMS messages only contain SMS TEXT?! The worst that should happen is that you have a binary SMS message in your inbox.
