Alright! I'll bet it'll go at least 20 miles before needing a recharge. That's pretty good performance for Obama's green cronies. I imagine it will be expensive, but the bay area millionaires who will buy this thing will undoubtedly receive a subsidy from the rest of us stuck with gas power.
I am upset with Wall Street - for the low returns of the last few years. But I blame it on the Bolsheviks who now run the country. That will soon end. As for the protesters, spray 'em down with firehoses. Nobody will want to hang around over night when they are wet.
Talk about an inconvenient truth! Horizontal drilling and fracturing have increased oil and gas potential by a factor of 100. Meanwhile, electric technology is languishing. The petroleum economy is here to say. I'm gonna get a big new SUV to celebrate!
Repeal that stinking healthcare bill. Destroy Obama. Get behind Paul Ryan's plan to end Medicare/Medicade as we know them. Pay your doctor, ya deadbeats. I'm tired or paying for freeloaders.
You are talking about Maine here. An incredibly destructive place where the liberal teachers union specialize in inventing ways to waste money. In Maine the average state employee earns twice what the average private sector worker earns with additional lavish benefits. Coming from New England I have always wondered why Maine was so impoverished having so much going for in in terms of its physical setting and universities. Most young people leave the state because the state government holds business, especially large businesses, in contempt. In Maine the business of government looting the productive economy has never been so good.
Obama is still trying to feather the government nest on the backs of taxpayers. We need to slash spending and taxes to revive the economy. The Bolsheviks have failed.
In Soviet Russia the gas generates you! But seriously folks, 1 week is not long enough for a credible inquiry. At least not when the results put American lives at stake. Hard to see how this gets past NASA. But this is the level of engineering you get when spaceflight goes to the cheapest bidder. How do you all like newspace now?
I like the green energy angle. Wind and tidal power? Really? I notice that the US didn't agree to the project, a small detail. Cooperation with Russia is long overdue, considering that they occupy Georgia, and enable a nuclear Iran. If we do build a bridge to Russia it will be to move our battle tanks into Siberia.
Wow! You environmentalist nut jobs are really sick. If you froze in a hut you'd really have a low carbon footprint too, but life wouldn't be much fun, would it? Then again you environmentalist Flagellants love to suffer. Well, I'm off to gas up my Tahoe, which I drive 20 miles to work alone.
Yes broadband is a right. So are widescreen TV, cellphones, food stamps, birth control, and fancy sneakers from all appearances. Next, a monthly crack stipend.
When will these Malthusians give it a break? The birthrates of western countries are falling below replacement level. It is important for prosperous decent people to have three or more children, unless you plan to hand western civilization to immigrant peasants hostile to western culture. Given the low cost of frackgas I plan to keep the thermostat turned up high this winter. Freeze in the dark if it salves your conscience.
I have been saying for years that global warming hysterics are a fraud, and the leftist political cabal that aligned with them. No surprises here. I am owed for hundreds of down mods.
Yes, I have seen some bad code come from scientists and engineers. I have also seen simple but ugly code, unnecessarily reengineered by OO design zealots and broken and ruined with complexity. It depends on who did the writing and the rewriting. The best policy is for software engineers to give scientists simple interfaces to write to and then stay out of their way.
If the idea has merit it would be funded by the market. The government should not be a venture capitalist. Obama's crony capitalism, where winners are hectored for making profits and losers receive government bailouts, is the reason why the recovery is so weak.
I live in Minnesota. It is 97 degrees and humid today and I have my AC blasting away to a comfortable internal temperature of 72, where it is always set. We have cheap electricity in MN because of frack gas. A white roof would hurt my property values. Besides, my attic is so well insulated that a light roof wouldn't make much difference. I am not much interested in listening to the nanny state feds advice about lighting either. I have stockpiled a 10 year supply of incandescent bulbs.

Will the unions take a paid holiday?

I disagree. They are just buzzwords and they have led to massive malinvestment and fraud by the Bolshevik Obama administration.

Is there anything that the shameless left claims is not effected by climate change? What a racket!
Russians are good at cracking software. It is a puzzle that they are so bad at creating it.

Is that what it means to have a 'more intelligent planet', to game the nanny state? Glad I park my Tahoe in my 3 car garage.

More sales for my medical devices company. Yeah, baby!
Congratulations CmdrTaco. Been here since 1998. Somehow slashdot managed to pass through the era of social networking without making any money!

Not surprising given that a bunch of wild eyed Bolsheviks are running the country. It won't last forever.

Just what customers want, to be part of the Chicom cloud.

Green jobs are a fraud and Obama and the democrats are still pushing them. Just makes the GOP's job easier in 2012.
