    Is there *anything* on TPB that's in the Public Domain? Since *everything* is copyrighted when it's created, what use is it including this in the summary?

    People keep saying The Pirate Bay is offline, dead, etc, and I've yet to see it taken down. I'd wait until the servers truly are gone before counting them out.

    It's been up and down the last few days.
    I think it has more to do with their new host rather than legal problems.

    If I had a robotic hand, there are certain parts of my- and other people's- bodies that I would be very reluctant to touch, squeeze or otherwise pleasure with it. It's all fine and dandy until one of the hydraulic lines breaks and someone needs a new set of genitals.

    That's the beauty you don't actually have to touch or squeeze the macheine provides feedback directly to the brain. It would be like phantom limb syndrome but a lot more fun.

    I totally agree with you.

    These people are going to have the very very best investigators, experts, and lawyers. They are going to examine every nook and cranny of the case in the attempt to find one little crack of reasonable doubt that will enable them to beat the rap.

    The FBI doesn't just need to dot every i and cross every t, they need to develop a case so tight that even the most moronic juror will see the wrong clear as day, when the best lawyers in the world are trying to obscure everything.

    On top of that, the US Attorneys don't like to go to trial unless they have a slam dunk. Losing makes them (and their administration) look bad--and image is sooo important!!

    Bottom line is that the FBI had to work their ass off to get the goods on these guys and we should all damn well appreciate it!

    £1,000 won't buy you a single police officer for a year.
    This is extremely cost effective.
