    Any credibility of your post was lost with the Bill O'Reilly reference. Your definition of free market seems like free when it benefits you and regulated when not. Talking about government intervention check out the agricultural subsidies handed out by USA and Europe

    What are you talking about ? It cannot all be waste. Everynight I enjoy a good night's sleep because of NASA. Didn't they design the tempur pedic mattresses. The DAMN swedes stole all their techonology. NASA should sue for patent infringement.

    Makes one wonder what good tempur-pedic mattresses are for weightless astrounauts ?

    I think this is just a start. I remember in the early 80s TV was a luxury. Some villages had a government sponsored TV in the village center. Now 25 yrs later it would be safe to say almost all middle class homes have TVS in India.

    The internation salary calculator is a joke... I tried comparing Boston , MA to Bombay India and it said I would need to make more to live in Bombay than in Boston. Having lived in both cities I know for sure it is not so
