    5. Come back later and mod down everyone who says anything contradicting my narrow-minded view of the world.
    6. Cry because Bill Gates has made another million dollars whilst I'm sitting here bagging his products.

Let's change that to "MS created Windows, they can create the programs for it if they want." Still agree with that statement?

Absolutely. No reason why Microsoft cannot create programs for its own platform. Apple makes software for MACOS doesn't it ? They just charge exuberant amount of money for them.

That statement is complete bollocks dude.

Yes you have to install drivers from other cd's, but I'd much rather insert 3 cd's to install gfx, sound, and tv tuner drivers with click and go GUI's than fart-arse around with archaic command line interfaces and obscure driver packages. Thats of course when you can find the drivers for your hardware. Fedora2 didn't even know what my 5 year old SoundblasterLive was.

Dont forget that nerds have a lot in common with their close cousins, the Conspiracy Theorists. And considering this book is one giant conspiracy theory, I think its more then relevant.

Agreed also on the aforementioned IP issues.
