You are an idiot. Just because they use a Open Source business model doesn't mean they shouldn't be chastised for pushing advertisements in our face. This extension isn't even Open Source. Yes, they are pushing CLOSED SOURCE software to your machine without you knowing about it.
How is that an alternate view? The ISPs can now restrict you even further. For example, they could block you from any of the big players, or any website, or anything they don't like.
The difference is that the post office can't refuse to sell you priority mail services or deliver your mail if you pay. Everyone has access to them if they are willing to pay. Once NN is repealed you can say good bye to chunks of the Internet as your local ISP will block them.
ClamAV Possibly Unwanted Application. While not necessarily malicious, the scanned file presents certain characteristics which depending on the user policies and environment may or may not represent a threat. For full details see: https://www.clamav.net/documen... .

I have no idea who "virustotal.com" is. Why not just show us the source code? Then we can find out if APK Hosts File Engine 10++ 32/64-bit is MALWARE or isn't MALWARE. I am assuming it is MALWARE since you are keeping the code hidden and obfuscate the exe just like a virus does.
So basically you are saying that APK Hosts File Engine 10++ 32/64-bit does what VIRUSES do, and pack the exe and encrypts it so Antivirus programs can't dump it? It sounds like APK Hosts File Engine 10++ 32/64-bit is actually a virus. Why can't we see the code?
What would stop someone from creating a malicious software and naming it APK Hosts File Engine 10++ 32/64-bit? I mean, different malicious software, because I am assuming your version of APK Hosts File Engine 10++ 32/64-bit is MALWARE. So why not just open source it, so we can see what it does?
Huge problems with the camera app on a $700 smartphone? That isn't a problem at all. No one uses a camera on a smartphone, so why even bother testing it before it ships?
The entrenched big tech corporations are now looking to eliminate potential competition. For example Netflix bundles their app on Comcast cable boxes. They want to make sure that their traffic is prioritized over their competitors. Of course, Google will want Youtube prioritized, etc.
Money. But you cannot force people to seek diagnosis and medication. It is against the law now. So money isn't the problem.
Homelessness cannot be cured by money. Most homeless people are mentally ill.

Things aren't changing fast. What is the difference between the web now and 10 years ago? Nothing. Just more ads.
Why not just make a cogent argument? Marxist, indeed.
No I didn't understand the "argument". What does the fact that Facebook can censor the Internet have to do with NN????

No it isn't. Netflix content usually doesn't go through multiple ISPs. Usually the netflix servers are colocated with the ISP equipment.
Netflix already partners with Comcast. Their app in now preinstalled on all their X1 cable boxes.
I must have missed something: what online video capability does Fox have? They are just buying the content.
According to virustotal.com it says:

Sounds like malware to me.

Why wouldn't you just release it as open source? Is it because APK Hosts File Engine 10++ 32/64-bit contains MALWARE and VIRUSES?
You are right...the number of Essential phones is likely much much lower than the number of downloads.

I guess he was too busy harassing women and not paying attention to the fact that no one wants a $700 phone that isn't an iPhone.
This is why I have been telling people to buy Comcast stock. They will become the major gatekeeper for the US internet.

I like working in government IT. We keep the terrorists from taking away our freedoms.
I am not Christian so I guess I don't get a Christmas bonus. In government IT we don't call them "Christmas" bonuses. It is culturally insensitive.
$5,000 for the starter model? That is 10% of what I make in IT in Silicon Valley per year!
