    How utterly comical. By who? You? Are you monitoring them? People are naive. There is no magic people/organization overseeing lobbyists. Do you think the press is? They are too busy with other things that they think is important.

  2. The Washington Press corps aren't a watchdog. They go to the same parties as the politicians.

  4. All the "think tanks" and lobbyists are in D.C. That is where the money is. Why would a politician be outside of the city of the people they serve? That doesn't make any sense.

    Exactly. Bingo. Why does Elon Musk have 3 private jets and multiple mansions but people don't laugh when he expresses concern about climate change? The same situation with Al Gore. It is like people forgot the phrase "talk is cheap".

    You don't understand: we have to go to space. It is our manifest destiny. Just like we discovered the New World, we will continue to explore out in the Universe. It is the only way ahead. You don't want to be stuck on this rock stuck in a gravity well when the asteroid hits do you?

    Big mistake. They should have gone with SpaceX. They have a new stainless steel rocket in development already. Plus they have the lowest launch costs in the world. Yes, I live in the same fantasy land as the ESA does.

    Why not ask for a raise? Go ask an experienced plumber what HE thinks of his job. If you actually talk to plumbers you might get a different story.

    What hacker is targeting WinRar and 7zip exploits? Hackers have much bigger things to exploit. There are a lot of CVE's filed but you would have to open a trojan file to get exploited.

    If you take down the endpoints (AWS) you can't reach the endpoints. The internet was designed to ROUTE around damage to the network, not the endpoints. The Internet doesn't depend on Amazon, or AWS.
