You seem to be under the misunderstanding that pharmaceutical companies are driven by science. That must be why they hire beautiful women to sell their drugs. They are all scientists.
You are right. It makes a big difference that Merck Sharp and Dohme and GlaxoSmithKline make different versions of the HPV vaccine. Both of with have the same issues and both of which are not recommended for use in Japan. Thanks for the tip!
Don't worry. The drug companies provided the estimates. You can trust them. If they say we have HPV and they can cure it for only $140 a dose, why wouldn't you do it? You don't want to die do you?
No, they also suspended the vaccine from the regular schedule of vaccinations and stopped recommending it while it is under investigation. Why are you lying? Personally I think the vaccines are safe, but for people to trust the pharmaceutical companies is ridiculous. This "story" and your link look like they were written by the SmithKlineBeechamGaxo(tm) marketing department.
I agree. They should have just trusted GlaxoSmithKlineBeechamDohme's studies which say the drug is safe. After all, "health concerns" aren't important. People are just being a bunch of crybabies. They should take their drugs and shut up.
I agree. It is better to continue the sale of the drug, rather than trying to gather information on what is causing the side effects. After all, why stop the flow of cash to GlaxoSmithKlineFrenchDohme(tm)? If they say it is safe, it is safe.
This story brought to you by GlaxoSmithKline(tm). We are looking out for your Health(c). Isn't your health worth $140 per dose? The next step is it convince the Japanese to start allowing it again. They banned it in 2013.
In 1985? You couldn't. We aren't talking about 1985, we are talking about 1995. Win95 came out in what year? Christ. You people will complain about anything trivial. I don't like Microsoft but complaining about BASIC is ridiculous. Other platforms didn't even have that at the time!
They even had a version before that called QBasic and even came on the Windows 95 CD if you looked for it. I don't remember anytime that Windows was without a Basic interpreter. Ridiculous.
Right. That is why the top grossing musicians of 2015 were One Direction. They made it on merit because they are so awesome that everyone talked about them on Twitter.
Theodp hates the idea of teaching children to code. He thinks that they are going to take his job, and the plan is to flood the market with (child) programmers. Really bizarre. Oh, and he hates H1B's too. They are going to take his job. In summary: he is afraid of losing his jobs and posts regular diatribes here about it. He masks his fear by railing against Code.org and H1B's, without addressing his fear directly. I think he needs to find another field to work in.
You didn't have to pay for a development system. At the time MS offered Visual Basic Express for free (and still does AFAIK). And python was/is free, and probably a better teaching language anyway.
I know you guys hate teaching kids programming because you think they are going to steal your job, but really you complain about the dumbest things. You should be complaining about manufacturers turning computers into walled gardens, which is much more harmful for all of us.
One word: Marketing. And promotion. Wait, you need three words: Marketing and promotion. And publicity. OK four words: marketing, promotion, and publicity. Oh, and connections to the industry.
I think you need it, because, um, you do. You don't think you can drive non-approved vehicles on public roads do you? You need Federal approval of kids car seats! You need state approval as well depending on the road you are on.
I'm pretty sure the rockets pointed at Seoul are more powerful than any pen.
Yes. Unfortunately the new speakers arrived and the directions were all in Chinese.
What is there to discuss? We know the reason is that the tubes sending the electricity to the speakers isn't wide enough.
I know this site took down the slogan "News for Nerds. Stuff that matters" from their logo a long time ago, but when did it morph into this?
Yeah, how can you be for 50% deaths? Derp...time to take your meds, dude.

Classy. You seem to be off your meds. I am sure GlaxoSmithKlineBeecham(tm) can help you with your problem.
Don't worry. The drug companies provided the estimates. You can trust them. If they say we have HPV and they can cure it for only $140 a dose, why wouldn't you do it? You don't want to die do you?
You are right. Just take your drugs and shut up like a good boy.

Who knows why they banned it? Don't they know they can trust GlaxoSmithKlineMerckSmithDohme(tm) to provide safe vaccines? It is settled science, baby!
Oh geez! How could I mistake GlaxoSharpDohme with MerckKleinSmith? Two totally different animals! Thanks for straightening me out!

I know. I was just kidding about the parrot sketch, but that can apply too in this situation...
