This isn't big news because it isn't new. The Republicans probably have just as many allegations waiting to throw at the Democrats if this comes to the forefront, so the Dems and their press cronies are keeping it on the back-burner.
This, like ever other scandal in Washington, will consume the beltway-boys for the next few days until someone else decides to flash his privates on C-SPAM.
There is no morality in Washington. Ethics are a weapon to be wielded. Dave Barry for Prez. At least he's funny.
Your article displays the worst blind jingoism,
ignorance, and crass pandering I've ever seen out of
an otherwise useful publication. Frankly, I'm appalled
that Forbes even let it run.
Junk faxes are theft. If a company forces someone else
to use time, energy and resources for its own profit,
then that parasitic company/should/ be sued.
Actually, that company should be criminally charged.
Is it ethical or legal for a door to door salesman to
force his potential clientele to pay for his gas, even
if they don't want his product? No. Then how is it
ethical or legal for one company to offload expenses
(paper, toner, electricity, phone usage, and most
importantly man-hours) on another for advertising its
products.
Next time when pumping and dumping, try washing your
hands afterwards.
Chippers and cheers,

Yes, I have (and am trying) to create something and make money off of it. I'm a musician and have very little chance of ever selling my work as I see fit under the current RIAA system.
If musicians are to be "protected" under the aegis of the RIAA, they have to understand that they exist to make money for the RIAA. Musicians are employees of the RIAA, just as a high-priced basketball player is an employee of a sports franchise. It is only after the musician has acrued enough personal fame (after being a veritable slave for the industry for years) that he can strike out on his own.
That is, unless there exists a system where musicians can distrubute their art directly to their fans and make a living off of it. Any system of this sort would more than likely not be highly profitable (thus of no interest to corporate types), but it potentially could support the artists at a decent standard of living. In my case, that's all I ask. If I can feed a family and be able to gig outside my town, I'm set. I'm sure most musicians are this way.
We don't all need to be rock-stars....
Asimov is not mentioned from the ASIMO website. ASIMO stands for "Advanced Step in Innovative MObility." I would hope that it is an in-house tribute, but there is no public mention of it. For legal reasons, I'm sure...

the heart of ethics in politics
I can't believe you used heart, ethics, and politics in the same sentence.
Here's my little response to the man.

Then we can further use the Edison model and use stray cats to fuel the biomass engine. No thank you on the DC-based Edison model.
