You're placing coffee mugs on your CDs? Dude, why don't you just use that mug holder in your computer? (they call it SeeDeeRom Driver or something)

I would add : Linux is less monocultured, as there are quite many distros, and users run a wide variety of tools/programs, with rather often updated version numbers, which are in turn compiled using a variety of configurations and a few different compilers.

I believe this might be an additional factor which hinders creating exploits able to hit a majority of running Linux systems at once.

I don't think Linux, even if it would dominate usage share, will be subject to massive worm attacks, simply because no worm could be programmed flexible enough to support all this variety of systems it'll encounter.

Enabling players to steal other players' goods would be a nice idea in general (while many MMORPG punish for robbery and killing). But I think in this guy's case all items have disappeared due to a bug in game, so it's legit for him to claim them back.
The 1200 bucks for mental anguish however is a bit too much. The game administration should restore his items as best as they can, and maybe give him an in-game reward. On the other hand, if they got sued, then probably because they have ignored his claims.

There will be no Palestine, until these terrorists stop killing innocent civilians.
They wouldn't have to kill innocent civilians, if they had a possibility to build and finance their own properly equipped army. This way Palestinians could reclaim their occupied grounds in a legitimate way. But who would be able to help them with that, as long as Israel has USA with all its financial, and if needed, military power.
ES5, regardless if its really operated from Palestine, or is just a spoof, is a small , but first step to bring some balance in this conflict.
