Granted, they're not really the same (P4 socket-run-anything-to-3GHZ versus 1GHz C3 soldered to the board). Because terminals were monochrome so they never had the option. But even in those days, you could always code an inverse where you had black characters on whatever "color" your tube was. It had nothing to do with how easy they were to read.
