    They pay more only because the rental copies go on sale before those to the general public. There's nothing preventing one from buying a $5 DVD from Walmart and renting that out. There's no copyright issue at all - no copy is being made, and no public performance. It's called the First Sale Doctrine.

    But, they stressed the change:

    In 2012, slightly more than half of Americans said that astrology was "not at all scientific," whereas nearly twothirds gave this response in 2010. The comparable percentage has not been this low since 1983.

    ... more than the absolute figures. Of course that could simply mean that fewer people know the difference between astrology and astronomy, but that still indicates a dumbing down.

    Nope. They orbit each other. The barycenter is about 4600 km from the Earth's center. The "other equation" is just for the case where the minor body mass can be completely ignored (e.g. an artificial satellite).

    Moving mass from the Moon to Earth would have no effect on the orbit. The orbital period is dependent on the sum of the masses.
