unmonitored physical access to the device means it is compromised. Hell it could be as simple as using the USB "setup" port to make it say what ever you want. Heck, program it to just use a list, first finger checks in first person on the list, and so on, stick people you like at the top, and people you don't near the bottom.
The only time i use #2 in wow is when the ret pally that selected "tank" won't put a damn shield even after i whisper him. I think i have vote kicked 5 people since the system went in.
I could add a few bucks and go back up to the 18 mbit tier, but this is sufficient for my needs (the occasional torrent and a girlfriend who loves streaming movies.)
DIRTY LIES! PICS or it didn't happen!
P.S. OOO pasting in slashdot is fixed in chromium 8!!
Hmm last time i checked only the senate has the power to declare war, and has not done so since WWII (there may have been one since then).
As for your question, a modern war won't be fought in the same style as WWII at all. The reason we are having such trouble in the middle east is that the eneamy is a loosely organized groups of a few people. Each with a similar goal. They are typically lead by a smart individual. So even though it's a professional army vs several groups of 5 guys, every once and a while they get lucky.
to use a DnD 3.x analogy, out of a horde of goblins, one of them will roll a double nat 20 every so often, better hope he doesn't have a vorpal sword...
coffee shops around here look at me weird when I order "coffee, black no cream/sugar". I have found that this seems to be one of the easier drinks for them to make as i seem to get it 99.9% of the time.
To make the math easier, lets assume a 16x9 display of 7680x4320. Now make each set of 4 pixels a "macro pixel" that gives you 1920x1080 virtual pixels. At which point mostly normal AA and sub pixel hinting can be used on the macro pixel with no need to send the display the full picture, currently. Once some sort of link is created it would then be easy to offer up a 4 fold increase in resolution without needing to do much other than a connector and some software.
Do you have a display that can show a 1:1 DSLR photo? how about the one from your camera phone? how about those high res images from nasa?
I'm waiting for a high enough res display that i could use it like a window.
what does small and light have to do with keeping the driver safe, See World rally cars, and Formula 1 cars. F1 cars are ~600Kg, so 1300lbs and I've seen all sorts of crashes with no injury. Mark Webber's red bull car giving him wings for example.
Or Mikka Hirvonen crashes a few rallys ago(Findland) and ending up hitting a tree.
we here in the USA love the 270 degree on ramps like the ones at Hwy 169 and I394 here in Minneapolis MN. The on ramp is ohh 3 car lengths long total, and you have car merging both left and right at the same time, half trying to slow down and the other half trying to speed up.
I'd link google maps but pasting on/. is broken in chrome.
a light weight car with 110HP @10k rpm, short gearing and a well tuned suspension will be much more fun to drive than a Mustang. Sure you won't be able to go 200+MPH in it but taking one of those 270 degree entrance ramp at 50MPH is fun. as is any undulating road. Give me a car with a top speed of 100MPH but with enough torque to do it very quickly and I'm a happy camper.
So a huge car with mushy suspension and 4000HP, long gearing and the ability to do 300MPH will be very little fun outside of a track, and even then the mushy suspension will kill it.
Yep, looks to me like the C class is deadly... to everyone else.
Even then I see very little cabin deformation, and little protrusion into the cabin. Both cars are totaled, so who cares if the Smart bounced around a bit more? Have a video of the same 64kph offset frontal between 2 Smarts? how about a Smart T-boning a Honda Fit or a family sedan?
we could just use python....
postgresql as well. Granted i don't have a good alternative to openoffice.
Python + QT?

The machine assumes someone will be paying attention and watching for those using gummybears...
but you have 2 of them.... for redundancy~
or dump the combatlog to a text file and parse it with a perl script.

i think you misunderstood, it's not "quit shooting the noob" it's "co-op vs. Competitive"

OO OO the germans!
and any one born here is a citizen regardless of the status of their parents last i checked.
and yet we are now trying to go back towards nature with wing morphing, and those flapping drones and such.

a few years ago i moved to xfce. I keep trying out other things E17, lxde, kde4, but i keep using xfce. Mostly due to the right click menu.

We here on /. have to go outside to get to the cellar door...

if you look on the side of the Merc, you'll notice that it is a video of a IIHS test.

okay, but can we have high speed and light? or no?
