But my typing pattern is surely very different if I am typing on an IBM Model M keyboard, or on the on-screen keyboard on my iPad, just like your wife's walking pattern is probably very different if she is walking in 6" stilletos, or in a pair of trainers.
I would prefer one without checks. It would make absolutely no difference to security. The bus to the airport would still be by far the most dangerous part of the journey, and it would take about 2 hours off the journey time.
Supposing I have a public Wifi access point. I could change the DNS settings on my network to redirect traffic from your bank to my phishing site without you noticing any difference on your DNS settings. Unless I also get a security certificate for your bank's url, people trying to log on from my network will get a warning that the certificate is invalid, and probably they will decide not to proceed any further.
I live in Britain and experience it first hand. It is certainly better than the American system, but not as good as the healthcare available in countries such as France and Germany.
The thing is that the US government spends more per head of population on healthcare than the British government does, and receives a lot less healthcare in return for that money. The British NHS is certainly not the best in the world, probably the second worst after the American system.
Importers buy dollars (or possibly Remninbi, but Chinese companies usually price their stuff in Dollars). I'm sure they would love to be able to buy Dollars at 6.29 VBF, but nobody will sell them at that rate if they can get 60 VBF on the black market for them.
Or rather, correct, FDIC insures the depositors, not the banks, and the F in FDIC is for Federal, ie it is a federal government body. Hence the government bailout.
In the UK, it is the FSCS that insures the depositors.
It didn't change in a big way. Internally the version number went from 6.1 to 6.2, which does reflect the amount of change that took place under the hood.
Patagonia has the 3rd largest Welsh speaking population in the world after Wales and England. Maybe Patagonia should be part of Wales, and it is after all only 300 miles away from the Falklands which is British.
That would be taxed as a Capital Gain in the UK, and most countries have similar rules. In most cases it will be the same as selling shares at a profit. If you bought Apple shares at $90 each in 2009 and sold them today for somewhere in the region of $500 ($512.49 as I type this), would you pay tax?
Mine became a Tesco Express. Much cheaper popcorn, you can buy from a very small selection of DVDs that cost less than Blockbuster charged to rent them, and you can get the rest of your food shopping as well.
What I do know is that Google's Sat Nav sometimes tells me to drive off the side of a bridge onto the highway that runs underneath it. All the other Sat Navs I've tested such as Tom Tom and Garmin have the same problem.
Lots of silk roads have opened up since the original one was raided. Some have taken orders, collected the money and done a runner with it. Some presumably are still operating. Some will be fronts and honeytraps set up by various law enforcement bodies around the world. Some will be real genuine marketplaces. Nobody knows for sure which ones are the genuine ones.

It looks more like GCHQ, the UK equivalent of the NSA.
Human accountants use tax software, that is true.
However they have a much better idea of what things you need to put into the software to get the right answer out of it.
Japan is a democracy. If the people in that country don't want another nuclear power station, then it won't be built.
I want my flashlight app to turn the light on and off regardless of where the phone is located.

They know to look for the padlock.

The US/UK bank bailouts did happen, and they happened because they were insured.

No it wasn't. It was unoccupied when the British arrived.

Most countries tax income earned in bitcoin in exactly the same way as they tax income earned in their own currency or any other country's currency.
If there was a country behind it, you could use it to pay your taxes, and that is what gives it its value.
If Blizzard are obliged to provide goods or services in exchange for the WoW gold, then it will be on their balance sheet as a liability.

So presumably it is streaming the actual video file to a local media player on the client machine?

Electric cars don't have gears, and there are few places outside of Germany where you can legitimately drive faster than 132mph.
