Why does it matter which is worse? Both are accusations of hindering the democratic process. Which is worse stabbing somone to death or shooting them? Stealing through a hold-up or fraud? Does it really matter?
I tend to agree with the rain guy. The amount of space debris and it's speed and direction is something that you cant control. Assuming that you know nothing about where the debris is, the only thing you can control is the amount of time that you expose the ship to it.
Nice idea, but it seriously needs a plugin architecture. For that matter, at least let me tell it to index more than just the C:\ drive.
There's a simple solution to that. Windows XP and 2000 both let you mount drives to directories in the management consoles logical drives manager (or somthing to that effect.) Just make a c:\d, c:\e, etc. and mount your drives there.
What about making the knife with the intent to kill a person? Or in this case, what about making software that is intended for illegal purposes but can have legal uses?
It was a trap question meant to give ammunition to his opponant. There was one directed at the other side as well. He's not going to go on national television and list three things that can be pointed to as failures of his administration. This is commen sense.
With Bush being the current president, anything specific he says can and will be used against him as a failure of the administration. I think whoever wrote his responses decided just to cut their losses.
indeed. at first i found it amusing, but i am troubled that gwb finds it impossible to admit a specific instance in which he made a wrong decision.
Well in Debate#2, that was a trap question; an attempt to get him to provide Kerry with some ammuntion.
If I remember correctly, Kerry had a trap question too (or maybe it was Edwards.) I thought they were both a little unappropriate for the debates. It's like the "What's your greatest weakness" question that gets asked during job interviews.
Hollywood is a joke though. You have a bunch of people, many with only a high-school education or less, who think they are experts because they did/saw a movie about something. Because they have money and name recognition, they get their ideas out there, no matter how rediculous they are. In addition, being actors, they can communicate eloquently and people will listen.
We have had so many "iPod Killers" that the term now just means "new mp3 player."

Rio Karma User Review

On the usability side, I've been extremely pleased with the Karma. I never quite understood why all of the manufacturers have banded behind Apple's design of placing the display above the main control cluster. It results in the center of gravity being above your hand, making the device much more likely to slip or be knocked out of your grasp.
In the iPod's case, it rests comfortably on top of my pinky finger when using the controls. I have a 2G iPod though so the newer, smaller, ones may not work as well this way
Not all, but most do. Even then, I often forget to turn it off of vibrate when I get home and take it out of my pocket. It is my primary phone and it's easy to miss calls if it's on vibrate and not in my pocket.
Except for the entries in/Library and ~/Library. Those can be a pain to find. If there are problems in those, a simple uninstall/reinstall of the app doesn't fix it. With windows, a reinstall of the app will usually fix any problems.
It really isn't. I use firefox and tabbed browsing. Often I need to switch back and forth between 2-3 web pages. It is not efficient with tabbed browsing, especially if the tabs are not right next to each other. There is still a place for multiple browser windows.

I thought "HD equipped" meant High Definition. :-(
As did I. I wondered what the point of watching HD video on a PDA was.
I wish the article summaries would cut back on the Acronyms. I suppose that was the only way to fit it in the subject field though.
The networks are ignoring the 3rd party candidates because the voters are too.
Well I think instant content based searches was a big point of WinFS. I don't follow it too much though. I'm a newly converted mac guy myself.
Kind of like the American incarnation of democracy. Started here, improved over seas.
Back when longhorn was goign to have this, we heard "Tiger will be out first." The same thing works here too. Tiger is in the future; this is now.

Not the most elegant solution but it should work.

Well I'm in the south and have never heard that. Perhaps it's a localized thing.

That's just so symptomatic of how truly diseased this country is.
Go ahead and jump ship then. No country is perfect. Any country you go to will have pleanty of things for you to complain about on slashdot.
That's just politics. Everyone of opposing parties is looking for weakness or an opportunity to exploit.

That sounds like an amazon user review..

That's not really the same. Nobody is voting on those. Those are personal choices as opposed to a group choice.

I personally find it counter-productive for most situations. Microsoft does have a downloadable "powertoy" for those who would like the feature

You opera zealots are worse then the gentoo ones.
